Kruin Park Nature Reserve

Kruin Park is a narrow strip of land between Kruin Street and Lukas Street. Kruin Park is part of the oldest nature reserve in South Africa, the 115-year old Groenkloof Nature Reserve, which was proclaimed in 1895.

The Kruin Park Nature Reserve provides lovely views of Pretoria. A well marked hiking trail of about 2 km (once you find the start!) will take you on a route through this small nature reserve. The area is fenced in, which makes it safe for your dog as he/she will not be able to get out. At the time of our visit, we were the only people in the reserve, and walked off-leash with the dogs.
